Spring Break Outfits from Antonio Melani

Spring break isn’t just for college students – we all deserve a chance to kick back and relax with our families. Whether you’re planning a beach vacation or a staycation, it’s important to have a comfortable yet fashionable wardrobe for the occasion. Over the years, I’ve shared plenty of spring outfits. Check them out here, here and here. But today, I wanted to focus specifically on spring break outfits.
Recently, Antonio Melani teamed up with Jennifer Sumko to design a new collection exclusive to Dillard’s. The collection is full of great feminine and elegant pieces that would make great spring break outfits.
What is Antonio Melani?
Besides being one of my favorite brands for fun, feminine and unique outfits. Antonio Melani is a fashion brand that offers women’s clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories. The brand is known for its sophisticated and feminine designs. It was founded in the early 2000s and is exclusively sold at Dillard’s. The brand’s collections include a wide range of apparel, from casual wear to formal dresses, and their shoes and handbags are often designed to complement their clothing designs.
Now they’ve teamed up with designer Jennifer Sumko to create an amazing collection full of spring staples that will add elegance and femininity to my wardrobe.
The elements of great spring break outfits
A good spring break outfit is able to reflect the season’s bright and sunny vibes. But it also has to be comfortable and versatile. Some things I take into account when putting together spring break outfits are:
- Fabric – I like light breathable fabrics that can be layered like linen or cotton.
- Colors – Bold, bright and playful colors scream spring.
- Versatility – I love an outfit that can be worn for any occasion from a casual brunch to a night out or formal event.
- Comfort – Comfort is key in any outfit, and spring is no exception. I look for pieces that are comfortable and easy to move in.
Pieces I'm excited for
I love these matching sets from the Antonio Melani x Jennifer Sumko collection. Matching sets are great because of their effortless style and versatility. They can be easily dressed up or down for different occasions. Matching sets are also a great way to create a polished and put-together look with minimal effort. Since there’s little thought about what to put together they’re perfect for spring break outfits.
Above are two of my favorite matching sets from the collection. I love the visual interest of the puff sleeve floral top paired with the elegant midi skirt. The pink linen top with the matching ankle pants is the perfect outfit for the day at the beach or a dinner out with the family.
The collection also features a few great swimsuits too. Which is good because you can’t talk about spring break outfits without mentioning swimsuits! What I love most is that they have both two pieces and a matching one piece option. That means there’s something for anyone within this collection.
One of my favorites from the collection is the seashell print swimsuit that comes in both a one piece and two piece. The top and bottom can be bought separately so that way you can make sure you have a well fitting swimsuit.
I also love the pearl embellished one piece. The kelly green just screams spring break. But the pearls add an unexpected bit of femininity and elegance.
