Like I said last week, why should college students be the only ones who get the benefit of spring break? Everyone deserves to kick their feet up and look good while doing it. It doesn’t matter if you’re staying home for a staycation or going to a tropical getaway or just spending a day or two at the beach. Here are a few ideas to look good and feel good when planning spring break outfits.
Last week I talked all about how much I love to shop at Dillard’s for spring break outfits, but there are a couple of other places I love too.
My favorite thing about spring fashion is the feminine floral dresses. I like to pair my floral dresses with a wicker handbag, pearl earrings and flower sandals. I love floral dresses because they’re such classic springtime staples and can come in so many different styles and lengths. A wicker handbag adds a natural, bohemian touch to the outfit. Not to mention they’re super practical especially on vacation when it seems like you have a million and one things to carry all day. Pearl earrings are a fun way to add a little bit of timeless elegance and a touch of sophistication to the outfit. Finally, flower sandals are a playful and whimsical choice for footwear that add a bit of texture to the overall look. When I put these all together, they create a cohesive and charming spring break outfit that’s perfect for enjoying the warm weather and exploring new places.
Maxi dresses are a forever favorite for spring break outfits. They’re light and airy fabrics keep you cool during the day but also can keep you warm when the temperatures drop at night. And I just love how versatile they are! Some come in spaghetti straps while others come short sleeves. Some are bright with bold patterns while others are solid colored and subdued.
When planning my spring break outfits I love to have fun flirty sundresses paired with practical yet stylish accessories. It doesn’t matter if the sun dress is a bold print or a bold solid color, either way they’re both great choices that I like to pair with wedge espadrille sandals. I like to finish the outfit off with a big sun hat and sunglasses to protect me from the sun.
