Bold Plaid Coat With Feminine Sweater Dress
Just because winter has the reputation of being drab and gray, doesn’t mean our wardrobe has to follow suit. To make a statement and stand out during the cold drab months I like to pair a bold plaid coat with an elegant and sophisticated dress in a neutral color. For the outfit pictured above, I chose a white sweater dress with shimmering gold buttons for a touch of femininity.
What I really love about this look is that it’s great for any occasion, you could wear it to work, a party or a date night.
Casual Feminine Winter Outfit
For an effortless winter look, I like to go with a textured sweater jacket with a pair of medium wash jeans. It’s a timeless combo that will never go out of style. It’s a look perfect for a casual day out of running errands or getting coffee with your friends. I like to pair this outfit with a pair of lower heels to give it a more sophisticated feel.
I felt like the outfit was missing something so I added a bedazzled brooch to add just a little bit more visual interest.
Feminine Winter Work Outfit
Winter work outfits should be anything but boring. For a classic and sophisticated winter office look, I paired a navy blue coat paired with wide leg khaki pants. The khaki adds a subtle contrast to the navy blue, creating a look that is both stylish and sophisticated.
I added these beautiful Charles by Charles David suede lavender boots. They might seem like an unexpected choice, but since when I took the coat off the outfit was pretty simple. So, I wanted a little pop of color to add interest.
Versatile Winter Outfit
When I want to look and feel elegant and sophisticated I like to combine a fur collared coat, white pants and a tweed jacket. The fur collar adds a luxurious feel to the outfit, while the white pants provide a classic look. The tweed jacket adds texture and warmth, it’s the perfect outfit for those really cold winter days.
The versatility of this look is amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to wear it to a business meeting, a night out with my friends or a date night with my husband.
