What to wear to a New Year’s Eve Party

With the Christmas holiday parties wrapping up it’s time to start thinking about ringing in the new year and what you’re going to wear to this year’s New Year’s Eve party. Earlier this week, I shared a some fun New Year’s Eve outfits over on Instagram. Today, I want to share some more ideas to help you kick off the new year looking and feeling your best.
New Year's Eve Party Outfit 1: Halter elegance
For an elegant New Year’s Eve party look, try a floor length halter top dress in a soft pastel. This one is open back and definitely a head turning number. But opt in for a more conservative back and a more dramatic dark color, if that’s more your style. Add a sequin mini bag and sequin heels for just the right amount of sparkle.
Style tip: To finish off the look I like to wear a large statement necklace backwards under the halter’s neckline and let it drape down my back for a touch of drama.

New Year's Eve Party Outfit 2: Sequins and fringe
To really make a statement at this New Year’s Eve Party, try a flapper style sequin and fringe dress. Try either a short or longer option depending on your comfort level.
For an understated look, I like to pair my fringe dresses with velvet or satin pointed toe pumps with very little embellishment. But to really stand out, I suggest trying a pair of fully embellished heels.
Then finish off the look with a pair of fringe earrings and a fringe clutch.

New Year's Eve Party Outfit 3: Feathers and Pearls
Another great statement option for a New Year’s Eve Party is combining feathers and pearls for a unique elegant look. To really turn heads, try an all over feather dress. Or for a more refined look try a feather trimmed dress or jumpsuit. All of these options pair well with either low heel or high heel feather mules.
Finally, finish the look off with a few pearl accessories like earrings, a bracelet and a clutch and you’re ready to ring in the new year in style.
