I can barely believe it: last week, the weather in Denver was in the high sixties! I didn’t even need a jacket. Could this mean spring is finally right around the corner? I even started getting my mini greenhouse set up, and already dreaming of cutting my own flowers in a few months!
Speaking of, spring flowers and their feminine hues were definitely a huge inspiration for these pastel color combos. You’ll be so glad to see how well they come together!
For an eye-pleasing and coherent look, it’s a good idea to shoot for just two or three colors in one outfit. Too many colors can detract from the simplicity of these sweet shades. The calming hues in these soft pastels are going to be your new best friends this season. Especially when it’s as easy as being able to take any two of these pastels and make a cute color combo.
Baby Blue + Dusty Pink
Who says you can’t pair blue and pink together? This is two of my favorite colors and I’m loving the feminine and romantic vibes of this palette. Especially when there’s florals embroidered on this cozy cardigan (similar option $60). The pearl buttons add a classy girly touch. I kept the two-toned theme cohesive by only using these soft hues of blue and pink (like these dusty pants here, currently 40% off) throughout the look, even in shoes, bag and other accessories.

Blush + Yellow
These tones are so soft I consider them neutrals. And neutrals are always in style and so easy to pair. Romantic blush-colored tops with comfy yellow straight legs are bound to keep things fresh and romantic for both day and evening! For a dress look, a yellow and white gingham maxi with a blush clutch is so sweet. You can wear a soft blush cozy cardigan with it for a cozy touch.
These colors are so classic but still feel happy. With these simple tones, it’s easy to be creative when you’re shopping for a certain color theme. It can be really useful when everything pretty much goes well together, which also saves you time in the morning!

This combo is all about putting a spring in your step. With leaves and flowers blooming all around, you’ll feel refreshed and lively as the weather warms up. For new adventures or your favorite spring activities, soft green and pastel yellow are fun and perfectly inspired by nature. I love a flowy maxi dress paired with a collared pearled cardigan. How darling!

Lilac + Muted Pink
I’m seriously loving this pairing. If you have a fuzzy light pink sweater, now is the time to use it! We’re going for a dreamy ambiance with this one. Creating an easy-going vibe is easy with these gorgeous pastels. Lilacs have ranked just about first on the lists of the top colors for 2022, so be ready to break out the light purples. I’m so ready! When we’re working with pastels, we have a lot of versatility from the shading of the hues. Maintain your vibe by creating balance with your shoes and any additional accessories. Anything too loud or bright can distract from the consistency, so be mindful.
