This floral embroidered maxi dress reminds me of an easy end-of-summer vacation day. We wake up late, taking our time to a family brunch, perhaps lounging in a shaded garden, poolside afterwards. And that is what I had bought the dress for, when I planned our end of summer family trip to the mountainside. We ended up deciding not to go last minute, but this dress is too pretty to leave hanging in the closet.
I am loving late summer days in our garden. The mornings are getting cooler, and my summer flowers are still coming although at a slower pace. My favorite to pick in the morning have to be dahlias. They grew tall and big over the summer, the blooms are beautiful and the colors are striking.
This dress has the most stunning botanical embroidered details with floral branches and birds. The vibrant green hue is also something that caught my eye. It’s a nice deep green that I think is quite beautiful for an end-of-summer look. In early fall, I would wear this dress again with a soft comfy cropped cardigan. The cotton fabric on this dress is of a heavier weight, and the dress is lined. So it does feel nice on a cool evening or chilly morning. The straps are adjustable and removable so you can wear this dress with or without straps.
Some accessories I love with the embroidered details are threaded or beaded earrings, matching botanical or floral scarf, could be worn as a headband, and a straw bag if I were to wear one.
