Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it. Have you been thinking about what outfit to wear? With the day being on a Wednesday, lunch may not be a popular date idea. But if you go out to eat on the day of, and/or the weekend before, here is an excellent dress (and coat) choice to wear.

I picked this nude lacey dress from Chicwish to style for this occasion because it’s body flattering which you need for a day of romance. Also, the lace details are beautiful. I don’t know about you but for me, lace makes all outfits feel feminine and elegant. I paired this look with this plaid coat. It’s such a great wool coat. Don’t let the website and price point fool you. The wool blend material is great quality and the coat is nicely lined. This plaid print is also very trendy right now, I can see myself wearing this coat transitioning into spring as well.
