For those of you mamas to be, who have an office job, just because you are preggo, doesn’t mean you have to give up looking chic, especially in the office. I remember when I was in my first trimester and the bump wasn’t showing up a whole lot, I really liked the high waisted skirt combo with a tucked in top. So I thought I’d share with you this work wear for first trimester.
To be honest, these photos were taken when I was at about 16 weeks, a little bit passed first trimester. But as you can see, my baby bump looked no bigger than when I have a big lunch. And I’ve always loved a good high waisted pencil skirt. It makes your legs look long and even with a food baby or a real baby, it’s still very chic.
And this top is one of the most popular tunics I’ve seen among bloggers this year. It comes in so many colors and I own this one as well as ivory. I notice they keep changing the colors, even though some are always available like black and ivory. The material is a bit thin, but that’s perfect for summer, and it’s only $28!

Congrats on your pregnancy! How exciting for you. You look so chic in this high waisted pencil skirt and I can barely detect a bump. The blouse is gorgeous with this pretty skirt and I love the color palette of this outfit. I can’t wait to see how you continue to style your bump. xoxo, Christine

I am so in love with this office chic outfit! You look super stylish in this pencil skirt! Love how you styled it with a bit of color as well!
This has inspired me to wear skirts more at the office. I tend to go for the full pants suit which can be dull in the long run!

Aww, this is such a classic and elegant look. I love this peachy-toned top paired with the white skirt, very stylish indeed. And this absolutely stunning blush pink bag matches this outfit perfectly! I’m in love with your style!

I’m lucky I don’t have an office job anymore so I don’t have to wear corporate-ish attire but totally agree that pregnant women don’t have to subject themselves to moo moos all the time and that looking chic can be quite easy!
You look amazing in that skirt and the colour of the shirt is just perfection on you!

Love this pencil skirt with all the lace details 🙂 I have a similar one for work. I love dress up beautifully for office everyday, but sometimes, I get questioned by my colleagues because they think I’m fashionable for a girl who works in the Oil and Gas industry. oh well, who cares, we all deserve to look good!
PS: you look amazing with this outfit, I can barely tell your baby bump.

As I have a bit of a hard time getting pregnant I must say I do love the way you’re thinking. Why dress in a tent just because you happen to be pregnant. You can still pull off a stylish outfit just like you did here and even follow trends (which you also did). You look radiant and full of energy and I almost wish I could get pregnant to get that wonderful glow, haha.

I held an office job through out both my pregnancy which required me to dress up everyday. I did’t have a big belly either and had no problem fitting into pieces even when I was more heavily pregnant. I wore a lot of pencil skirts with elastic band on the top and eventually switched out my heels to flats when I had a fall at 25 weeks that really scared me. You look really chic and beautiful in our office attire and didn’t look very pregnant at all, can’t wait to see what other outfits you will style for your bump.

Super cute! The great thing about the first trimester is that you usually don’t show much and can wear your regular clothing. I wore a lot of dresses 🙂 You look adorable mama! Very chic for the office!

I love this look! I am not pregnant, and would still rock this to work!
The high waisted skirt is placed perfectly, so that it almost hides the bump. I also love the crochet detail and the coral colored top.
