5 is a big year. It’s the year Lucy will finally be able to read Frozen. It’s the year she’ll be big enough to go on all the Frozen rides at Disneyland. And it’s the year she’ll have her very first Frozen-themed birthday party.
If you’re looking for some inspiration for your own little girl’s Frozen birthday party, here are some ideas to get you started and make your little girl’s party extra special.
No Frozen birthday party would be complete without some Frozen-themed decorations. You can find all sorts of Frozen-themed items at your local party store, or even online (Amazon is your best friend when planning a little girl’s birthday party!). Balloons, balloon arches, banners, and streamers are all great options. This year I went with Luxe Party Decor, a luxury children party rental company in Denver, CO, for our magical balloon arch installation. They also had a white castle bounce house that I was able to rent. It was fit for the Ice Queen herself!
The theme for this year’s birthday cake is you guessed it… Frozen! Made by yours truly, this simple white cake with the snowflake details was perfect for our little 5 year old princess. For the treat table, I made some adorable sugar cookies made with Lucy’s name and her favorite Frozen character, Elsa. I wrapped them in clear bags with a cute blue ribbon so they could be eaten at the party or taken home and saved for later. I also found these adorable Elsa cupcake toppers. They instantly transformed the store-bought cupcakes into an adorable and custom treat.
Last but not least, no frozen birthday party would be complete without a visit from the one and only Ice Queen herself, Elsa. We were so lucky to have found Elsa from Magical Moments Come True. She was incredible and truly made Lucy’s birthday party extra special. She made sure all of the children had a chance to meet her and take photos.
One of my favorite decorations that I like to include at any outdoor birthday party is this flower holder centerpiece. I love how a few bright flowers can bring any table to life. Here’s a link to the blog post for more details on how to create this easy centerpiece yourself!
For local Denver area, if you are interested, here are the rental details. I rented 6 kids acrylic chairs and a kids table (6-ft long) from Luxe Party Decor.
The food and treat table is always one of my favorite parts of planning any event. This is where your creativity and knowledge of the theme really shines through. In true Frozen fashion, fake snow and twinkle lights made the table feel like a winter wonderland. Rock candy crystals and custom Elsa cookies made the perfect pre-packaged treats that could be eaten at the party or saved for later. Here are a few more things I ordered for the treat table and goodie bags:
With these great frozen birthday party ideas, you’re sure to throw a party that your little girl will never forget. And if you’re in the Denver area and are looking for a frozen character for your child’s birthday party, be sure to contact Magical Moments Come True. They have a wide variety of characters to choose from, and they’re sure to make your child’s birthday party extra special.
