Hi lovelies, today I’m excited to review these products from the Garnier Whole Blends Color Care line I’ve recently started trying. I was interested in this line for two reasons: one is because I love using products with natural ingredients for my hair, and I also just recently colored my hair for the warmer months so I’m in need of color-protecting hair products. Garnier Whole Blends Color Care with Argan Oil and Cranberry Extracts gives wholesome care that protects color and is exactly what I was looking for.
I purchased these products from the hair care aisle at Walmart. The line consists of three products: shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask. At the time of my purchase, the hair mask wasn’t available yet. So I could only try the shampoo and conditioner. But at the time you are reading this post, the whole line including the hair mask should be available for purchase! And I am definitely coming back for the mask.
First off, this line smells so good to me, fruity and delicious! I know smell is subjective, and sometimes hair products could smell too overpowering. I can’t speak for everyone, but I personally think it’s refreshing and a yummy scent! The products did a wonderful job on my hair, especially the conditioner. After applying the conditioner, my hair was instantly so smooth I couldn’t stop playing with my hair in the shower lol. Overall, I think this is a great care system for your color treated hair. So now, after caring for beautiful hair, wouldn’t you like a fun hair tutorial to get you ready for the warmer weather? This hairstyle takes 5 minutes to re-create, requires no braiding skills, works on all hair lengths and textures. I’m not sure what to call this though. How about “5 min (no-braid) Fishtail Bubble Braid“, if you have a better name for it, leave me a comment below!

Tutorial:

Details:
1. Prep your hair. You can start with straight or curled hair, part your hair to one side. Then take a small section of hair on that parted side and tie it in a small ponytail.
2. Grab hair from either side of this ponytail, then tie that in the ponytail together, creating a bubble like step 3.
3. This is a “bubble”.
4. Create a hole in the middle of this bubble, and flip your hair into that hole. You can flip it inwards or outwards, just remember to do that direction consistently for all the bubbles in the braid. I did mine outwards. Then repeat steps 2–4.
5. This is the braid after 2 “bubbles”.
6. After about 2-3 bubbles, stop incorporating hair from either side. Just tie a new bubble and flip the hair into it.
7. Continue until your desired braid length.
8. Bonus variation: After step 5, keep taking hair from either side of the braid until you have no hair for this full side braid look.
